Com podem veure a la imatge següent, hi ha tres posicions a l'interior del LED SMD 5050 i també hi ha 6 pins per a la connexió actual. Hi ha tres passadors a cada costat i un per a càtode i un altre per a ànode. Per tal d’augmentar la brillantor o la radiació d’un LED, és la millor manera d’introduir tres xips dins del LED de manera que aquest LED millorarà 3 vegades. El LED de 600 nm emet un LED taronja, també el podeu anomenar LED ambre. Els LED SMD de 600 nm s’utilitzen àmpliament en tipus de projectes d’il·luminació LED, projectes de decoració de LEDs o algun altre ect de llum posterior LED.
